My Grandpa (Papa), my stepdad (Bill), the dog (Maggie), and I pulling back in to the drive way after a short jaunt down the road.

Put the windshield back in

Put the window back in today. Fit in like a charm! With a couple wing nuts, a bottle of windex, and a rag later, it looks almost new! From reading up a little bit on the model As, 1929 was the first year for safety glass, and this is definitely the original glass!

New Shifter Knob

Built this new shifter knob today! In true 'Rat Rod' fashion, i took a piece of metal pipe, a pipe end, a washer, and a 5/16 nut and welded them all together. Came in to a little trouble when i put it on with clearance with the steering wheel, so we had to take the oxy/acetylene torch and bend the gear shift over a little bit.

When it was all said and done i painted it flat black, and it looks good enough for now!

Just got the car!

Just went and picked up our 'new' 1929, four door briggs body sedan. Got it for a smoking deal, and boy are the ideas of what to do with it just reeling in my mind.

Also got to drive the car around today, and feel the joy of driving a vehicle that is 81 years old. Took TONS of pictures that will be posted soon!
